[ Loose HTML 4.01 Checked! Test me! ] Changed HTML <font size= tagging to <big> and <small> tags because the latter seems more "logical" and was recommended by the W3C validation service. Also upgraded all pages (e.g. puns.html and this page...) from HTML 4.0 Loose to 4.01 Loose (reason I hesitated to upgrade some is that tables with border=1 or wider border tend to not display attractively in Firefox when doctype is 4.01 Loose).

Checked how my web pages look on a current Apple Macintosh, in Safari 2.0 (412) web browser. Almost everything rendered very nicely, with only a few exceptions (like the digital time in my Java clock Applet being too high in its little "frame"). [See also: 16Jun07 entry.]
