The most beauteous mole in the world |

Above is closeup of supermodel
Cindy Crawford's
famous "beauty mark" (aka "mole", "nevus", "birthmark") near upper right corner of her mouth. |

I (BMcC) find nothing attractive about
moles (aka "beauty marks"). I was born with a large mole on my chest. When I was a teenager,
pieces fell out of it and it bled some (I may have scratched it, too...). Luckily, I got it removed before
it became cancerous, but the experience left me with a life-long terror of melanoma. |

Have you inspected your body for potentially
cancerous moles? Have you had a physician check your body for potentially
cancerous moles? Also: Avoid sun exposure and "tanning salons", since sun exposure
increases risk of developing potentially lethal skin cancers. |

says Ms. Crawford's mole is probably benign. |

The most sacred mole in the world:
"[T]he prophet Muhammad... had...
a dark mole the size of a pigeon's egg, between his shoulder blades." ("An internalised image:
As newspapers in France and Germany reprint controversial caricatures of Muhammad, Stephen Bates looks at the issues surrounding depictions of the prophet",
