Dies Irae.... Somewhere in the Middle East, Muslims burn buildings related to Western interests in response to publication in a Danish newspaper of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed. In fact, the man at front-right with his arm raised is probably only an onlooker expressing his approval of the violence. But he looks to me like a "holy man" (a latter-day biblical prophet...) standing above the mass of the faithful, who, acting as a mouthpiece for G-d's Word, has invoked Wrath to annihilate the whole secular world.
