Jethra cat

		Jethra has recently taken to hiding under the fringe of the living room sofa. We wonder if this indicates she is hiding from growing older. In any case, I pulled back the sofa fringe (31 August 1998), and got this picture, which captures Jethra's softness, her sweet disposition and vulnerability, at age 16. (The colors are somewhat "artificial" due to using low ambient light without flash -- perhaps a bit like astronomical photographs?)
