THE DEAD SHALL BE RAISED.
[ ]
The entrance gate to New Haven Connecticut's old municipal cemetery is in 19th Century American Egyptian revival style. The epigraph across the top of the gate reads: "The dead shall be raised." I took a picture on my visit back to Yale, 27 April 2001. Kodak messed up my film: This picture and a few others were printed reversed, and 1/3 of the pictures (including this one) were not transferred to the Picture CD. I ran the print thru a scanner. Show me the scan!

I have long believed that one thing modern science and technology need to achieve to fully accomplish what we need them to do, is to raise the dead, including those persons whose bodies have not been preserved (ones blown to bits or vaporized in powerful explosions, persons who donated their bodies for anatomy class dissection, etc.).
