Jaeger-LeCoultre Sun Moon Reverso I find this dial design almost as appealing as the Patek Philippe ref. 5054/5055/.... Something I feel is better about the Patek dial design is that they have a day-of-month hand coaxial with the moonphase, whereas this JLC design has a seconds hand coaxial with the moon phase. Day-of-month and phase of moon move at approximately the same rate, whereas moon phase moves very slowly while seconds move very fast. The latter juxtaposition seems to me a visual equivalent of cacophony in sound.
