Box. Result of my (BMcC[18-11-46-503]) having given an open-ended commission to wood sculptor Mark Linsquist, to make me a wood box with no nails and no glue. I paid up front and told him I would accept anything he made or if he ended up making nothing, that was OK, too. Obviously, he needed to be an honorable person. An alternative to being a consumer [of consumrer products...], if one cannot be an artist oneself, is to be a patron of not just "the arts" (donate to our local PBS station, etc.) but of individual person artist(s). Or you can put the money into buying a bigger house or something like that which has no or little lasting value and from which either will you will learn much.
