Provenance: The Store Ltd, Baltimore MD, 1969

This entry in the exhibition is a little different. First, it' not high isurance valuation. In 1979, Danese wall calendars were $20 USD retail. I think the are $200 today. Not all objects of great beauty are expensive although many are. Secone the is tory. The calendar on the left wa in the design collection of The Museum of Modern srt, New York, It's all botched. They apparently didn ot care. As jesus said: "As you do it nto the least of thee, my brethern, you do it unto me" (Matt 25:40). Of course MoMA takes good care of Guernica. it's expensive. They're cheap. The one on the right I (BMcC[18-11-46-503]) own. It's still in pretty good shape after 50 years. Everything should be great art. Why should we hae to settle for less?
